Here is a collection of street portraits taken around the world in various countries. There is something deeply fulfilling and reassuring about direct contact with the eyes of another human through the lens. It reminds us that we are all connected despite differences of geography or culture.
At times, I am more bold in my efforts to ask strangers for spontaneous portraits. It still feels intrusive sometimes, but when I am succesful, I believe that these are some of my strongest images.
