Welcome sign as you enter Potter County, Pennsylvania. In the early 1990’s, Potter County was home to an Aryan Nations leader named August Kreis III who found it’s vast pinelands, coined “God’s Country”, and it’s majority white population to be the perfect setting for a base of operations. In 1993, approximately 350 Nazi and racist skinheads attended Aryan Summerfest, a hard-core white supremacist "hate rock" festival that August Kreis III hosted at his semi-rural "Last Outpost," consisting of three trailers, a woodshop and a shooting range on 10.4 acres in Potter County, Pennsylvania. Later, Kreis hosted the 2002 Aryan Nations World Congress, an agglomeration of skinheads, Klansmen, Nazis and white power bands. Kreis played a key role in spreading white supremacy in Potter County and advocated the mass murder of Jews, non-whites and race traitors until 2009 when he moved from Potter County, to Lexington, South Carolina.

Max Resist, a popular band with white nationalists performing “I Hope Your Baby’s White” at the annual Oi Fest. Oi Fest is a concert event held in a remote area of Arizona sponsored by the White Knights of America. Bufred O'Neil Furrow (3rd from left) - on August 10th, 1999 Bufred O'Neil Furrow entered the lobby of the North Valley Jewish Community Center in Granada Hills, CA and opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon, firing 70 shots into the complex. The gunfire wounded five people. The shootings ended with the death of Joseph Ileto, who was a postal worker a few miles away from the center. According to testimony, Furrow shot Ileto nine times, because he thought Ileto was Latino or Asian. Furrow was recruited into Aryan Nations in 1994 by the man on the far left, who has since renounced his former racist beliefs and is now a devout Christian.
